Sarah Willis, founder of Beginnings & Endings, is a trained Celebrant and member of the Institute of Civil Funerals.

Sarah brings lots of life and work experience to her role within Beginnings & Endings... Most recently, she was Director of the Childhood Bereavement Network and travelled extensively around the UK. Following the birth of twin grandsons, however, and based on her personal experiences of bereavement and contact with families, she chose to train as a non-religious Civil Funeral Celebrant.

Sarah believes it is important to mark the significant events in our lives; the happy occasions and the sad ones. And, the range of ceremonies that can be arranged through Beginnings & Endings reflects this view.

And, why this name for our business? Quite simply, we believe that every significant event in life is both an ending and a beginning…
