A civil naming ceremony can be 'just right' for parents who are not conventionally religious but who, nevertheless, want to offer their child a special and unique welcome to the world and to their family.

• You can choose whether the ceremony is formal or much more relaxed.
• What you want to say about your baby's birth and the hopes and dreams you hold for their future.
• What kind of commitment and dedications you would like from the Special Guardians chosen for your child.
• The music, readings and poetry you want to hear and share with your guests.
  

Special Guardians are the friends or family members you choose to make a personal commitment to your child. The role is a non-religious alternative to a godparent. It does not have any legal status.

Memory boxes

We can also work with you to create a Memory Box. This Box can be a time capsule or can be used to start a growing collection of treasures. See other services for more information.
